Browatech heating textiles
Browatech · integrated heating
Heating becomes part of your design.
Flexible electric heating textiles for buildings, furniture and new products. Distrigard helps you explore the application and develop an informed project concept.
Heating textiles can be integrated into a surface or product. Material construction, available area, required power and controls determine how each application is designed.
Buildings & prefab
Integrate heating into floors, walls or ceilings. For modular construction, prefab elements, new buildings and renovation, we explore how the textile fits the structure and heating demand.
Furniture & comfort
Targeted warmth in seats, backrests, cushions and upholstered products. A development opportunity for furniture manufacturers, interiors and hospitality, tailored to the user and environment.
Greenhouses & horticulture
Research into heated screens and direct radiant heating of plants opens possibilities for cultivation, propagation and targeted heating. Root-zone heating and integration into growing systems are further development opportunities.
Your new product
From acoustic panels and workstations to industrial applications: we welcome new ideas involving heating textiles. Tell us which problem you want to solve and we can explore feasibility together.
From textile to application
Images of the material, its heat distribution and a church application show how heating textile can be integrated in different settings.

1. Understand the application. What needs heating, when and to which temperature?
2. Assess the technical requirements. We consider surface area, heat demand, materials, power supply, controls and operating conditions.
3. Develop the project. A proposal requires appropriate sizing and assessment of installation, energy use and cost. The energy calculator helps make the assumptions visible.
Collaboration in Germany
Browatech collaborates in Germany with partners including EFG Gienger. The supplied presentation describes joint projects using heating textiles and KNX controls, including church heating. Distrigard introduces this technology for new applications and projects.
Technology with a clear basis
Large heating surfaces can distribute warmth at lower source temperatures than compact, hot infrared panels. Both use long-wave infrared radiation; performance depends on temperature, area, construction and controls.
The greenhouse research by Prof. George Papadakis at the Agricultural University of Athens describes heated screens and controls based on plant temperature. Savings presented are research and scenario results, rather than a general guarantee for a project.
Application examples are development opportunities. Suitability, performance and safety require assessment for each specific product construction and installation.
